Required disclosures
Medicare disclaimers, in one place.
Some of what follows is required of us by federal rule. The rest is here because we think you should have it in plain sight rather than in small print at the bottom of a page.

1. We do not offer every plan in your area
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Currently we represent [N] organisations which offer [N] products in your area.
Please contact Medicare.gov,1-800-MEDICARE, or your State Health Insurance Assistance Program to get information on all of your options.
We state this plainly rather than burying it because it is the thing most worth knowing about any Medicare agency, ours included. No agency represents everything, and the free government resources above genuinely do cover the whole field.
2. We are not the government
Clearview Medicare Advisers LLC is not connected with or endorsed by the United States government or the federal Medicare program.
Nothing on this site is an official government communication. If you receive mail or a telephone call that appears to be from Medicare and asks for payment or for your Medicare number, treat it as fraud and report it to 1-800-MEDICARE.
3. This is a solicitation for insurance
This website is a solicitation for insurance. A licensed insurance agent may contact you.
We are an independent insurance agency. We are compensated by the insurance companies whose plans our clients enrol in, and we sell insurance products. That is what this site is for, and we would rather say so directly than describe ourselves only as an educational resource.
4. Enrollment depends on contract renewal
Enrollment in a plan depends on the plan's contract renewal with Medicare.Plans may change or withdraw from a service area at the end of a contract year, and benefits, formularies, pharmacy networks, provider networks, premiums and cost-sharing may change on 1 January of each year.
5. How we are paid
We receive commission from the insurance company when a client enrols in a plan through us. You pay us nothing, and your premium is not increased for having used an agent — plan pricing is the same whether you enrol through us, through a call centre, or directly with the carrier.
Commissions for Medicare Advantage and Part D plans are capped by federal regulation and are broadly comparable across carriers. Commissions on Medicare Supplement policies are not capped in the same way and do vary between insurers; our practice is to show you the full field including rate-increase history, and to say so when a lower-commission carrier is the one we would choose.
The fuller account is on our about page.
6. What this site is not
- It is not a complete description of benefits. Contact the plan for a complete description — the plan's Evidence of Coverage governs.
- It is not medical advice, legal advice or tax advice.
- It is not a determination of your eligibility for any plan or programme.
- It does not state current-year premiums, deductibles or benefit amounts, because those change annually and a dated figure is worse than none.
7. Free alternatives to using an agent
You are not obliged to work with an agency at all, and there are good free options:
- Your State Health Insurance Assistance Program — free, one-to-one Medicare counselling from trained volunteers who sell nothing and are paid by nobody.
- 1-800-MEDICARE — available at any hour, TTY 1-877-486-2048.
- Medicare.gov — the official plan finder, which lists every plan available in your county.
We recommend all three without reservation and refer people to them regularly.
8. Non-discrimination and accessibility
We do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, national origin, age, disability or sex in our services.
If you need this information in another format — large print, or read aloud over the telephone — ring us and we will provide it. TTY users may dial 711. If you need an interpreter, tell us when you ring and we will arrange one at no cost to you.
9. Contact and complaints
Clearview Medicare Advisers LLC. (866) 827-4241, TTY 711,team@example.com.
If you are unhappy with how an agent of this agency has behaved, tell us — and if you would rather not, you may complain directly to 1-800-MEDICARE, or to the department of insurance in your state. We would rather you had somewhere to go that is not us.
